GLOBAL YOUTH AMBASSADOR PROGRAMME

The Global Youth Ambassador Programme is an opportunity for young people to develop entrepreneurial and responsible leadership qualities and skills. A young ambassador travels across the world to go through a cultural learning experience while working for projects and NGO’s that aim to create positive impact in society.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Travel to another country and while discovering it, discover yourself and change yourself and the world in the process. Get a chance to represent not only yourself in the international network but also you as an Indonesian. Make a direct impact in the society by working in the projects, learn about the country and the issues so that you can come back and perhaps make a change in your own country!

Process

 

Step 1 - Online Application/Registration 

Register for our online application. Remember, our application is broken up into two parts – Generic & Detailed. Fill in the generic part of the application and have the option to either wait to get to know more about AIESEC – by meeting a representative of AIESEC close by or reading more about it - or immediately send a complete application package and be one step closer to being a Global Youth Ambassador.

 

Step 2 - Interview Selection 

Process to your next step of the application process by having an interview in the nearest local chapter that you chose previously.

 

Step 3 - Contract & Adminstration Fee

After you’re selected, you are responsible to sign a contract, completing administration matters, and paying minimum adminstration fee for this programme

 

Step 4 - Preperation Seminar

As an official youth ambassador, you can now join the preperation and learn about the details of the programme like the do’s and don’ts, how to apply for VISA, dealing with culture shock, etc.

 

Requirements

 

  • Student or recent graduate with age 17 – 30 years

  • Able to communicate in English

  • Have valid passport

  • Have high motivation and commitment

  • 6 to 8 weeks

  • Accommodation and food often covered

  • It can take 2 to 4 months to find a placement

  • Application fees

  • Airfare is usually not included
